Megan Santiago
MFT Trainee
Megan Santiago is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Through her clinical training, she supports individuals, couples, and families as they navigate relationships, identity, and periods of personal growth. Megan is passionate about creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences. Her clinical interests include identity development, relationships, and emotional well-being, with a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating biracial and multicultural identities, as well as questions of belonging and self-understanding. She values an intersectional and culturally responsive perspective, recognizing that each person’s experiences are shaped by the many identities, communities, and systems they move through. Megan is particularly drawn to Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which emphasize personal meaning, emotional connection, and the stories we carry about ourselves and our relationships. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and strives to meet each client with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity while supporting them in recognizing their strengths and creating meaningful change.
