Benedetta Jasmine Guetta

MFT Trainee

Benedetta Jasmine Guetta is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee in the Clinical Psychology program at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

Before entering the mental health field, Benedetta earned her Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Literature in Italy, built a ten-year career in e-commerce while living in Germany, authored the award-winning cookbook Cooking alla Giudia (National Jewish Book Award, 2022), and later owned and operated a small business in Los Angeles. While these roles appear diverse, they share a common foundation: listening deeply, holding people’s stories, and creating spaces for connection and care.

Her clinical interests are shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Benedetta is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Feuerstein Method, and is particularly drawn to relational work, trauma-responsive practice, and strength-based approaches that honor resilience while addressing real-world challenges.

Having lived in Italy, Germany, Israel, and the United States, she approaches her work through a multicultural lens and communicates comfortably in both English and Spanish.
